The attack, recorded on video, targeted a ship depot in Crimea, currently under Russian occupation.

The drones penetrated the adversary’s air defense and hit two high-speed transport and landing boats, model KS-701 “Tunets,” which were anchored in Uzka Bay.

The operation triggered an immediate response from the Russian forces, who deployed Su-27, Su-30, Su-35 and MiG-29 fighters, as well as Be-12 and An-26 aircraft, in an effort to intercept the drones.

Additionally, Ka-27/29 and Mi-8 helicopters were mobilized, using onboard weapons and unguided air-to-ground missiles in attempts to shoot down the drones. A released video shows explosions caused by air-to-ground missiles and a Russian attack helicopter Mi-24/Mi-35 in action, attempting to neutralize a drone with its front cannons.

The Russian forces also resorted to the chaotic use of small arms and 30 mm cannons in an attempt to neutralize the Ukrainian drones. The incident underscores the intensity of the conflict in the region and Ukraine’s growing capabilities in using drone technology in military operations.
